In 2001 McGovern for Manchester Consulting Inc. in the US reported: 'coaching translates into doing, doing translates into impacting the business, this impact can be quantified and maximised'. He went on to say ‘For large organisations we can estimate an average return on investment of $100,000.’

US survey
A recent survey by MetrixGlobal LLC in the USA showed that for large businesses coaching produced a 529% return on investment. Alongside this there were significant more subtle benefits to the organisational culture.
